kira

keo

lazarus

Kira is a most affectionate girl. She loves attention and getting cuddles. She has a keen interest in anything she can eat, skillfully finding her way to the front of the queue inspite of the fact she is missing part if her back leg! A very gentle cat who deals with her disability so well. A perfect pet. Keo is a very sociable boy he's approximately six years old. Keo was brought to the shelter after he was found hanging around a local taverna and was considered to be a nuisance. Keo is deaf and is now safe in the shelter but he would make a lovely companion cat for someone who can give him lots of attention. Keo would need a new home without any other cats as he is also FIV positive but this should not preclude him from living a full and happy life.
Lazarus was found by Adrian and Gaynor in June 2013 whilst on holiday in Cyprus in the garden of their home. He was tiny, very emaciated, nose all
bunged up and he was just sat under a bush not moving.  Argos collected the kitten and taken to the vet for checkup. The vet's diagnosis was that he
must have ingested some food with poison.  He was given the necessary treatment and taken to foster care to recover.  The effects of the poison of
course had destroyed some back teeth and he had them removed as soon as he was strong enough. His name was given to him because he was dying and raised from the dead to become this beautiful kitten.

lenny

maggie may

Lenny born 31/08/2012 is a greedy, cheeky boy. He arrived at Argos along with his mother and 4 brothers. Lenny's greediness plays havoc with his tummy and having suffered with bouts of tummy upsets he now finds himself a resident of our Hill's recovery area where he has settled very well. Misty is an attractive long haired grey  adult cat. She is very healthy and takes great care of her beautiful coat. She will allow us to groom her when she is in the mood, but remains a very independant cat. Born August 2012 is sister to Ziggy and Zorro. She is a beautiful, relaxed cat who suffers with a delicate tummy. Maggie May requires a special diet for this condition.Sponsoring Maggie May means we can provide her with her dietary needs.

merl

map

mogwy

An attractive looking cat but she is hardly seen around the sanctuary as she hides away. Her sister has been adopted and Merl is finding it difficult to settle with so many other cats around. Map was originally rescued as a very young kitten by an Argos foster mum . Map had a deformed and nerve damaged left front leg which the vet tried very hard to save but it became obvious that the leg would be useless so it was amputated. The volunteer had wanted to keep Map herself but became worried that her dogs might pick on Map because of her disability and so she was brought in to the sanctuary. Map was born approx August 2013 and is a very happy and playful young lady who loves cuddles and has many friends. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. Mogwy came in as a small kitten last year. His right eye is destroyed through infection and his left eye sees only shadows. Approx 7 months old now, a very happy and confident little cat despite his disability.

pye

stacey

sally

Pye is a blind cat who needs regular attention. She is a quiet girl who likes her own space but manages well with her blindness. Pye absolutely adores being groomed and will keep coming back for more! Stacey is another cat who through neglect caught an eye infection so bad that her eye had to be removed. Stacey is a friendly and loving cat that does not let her disability bother her. Sally has blossomed from a shy and frail cat into a far more confident and happy girl and keeps her magnificent coat in great condition . We are surprised that no one has chosen this pretty girl. Until her time comes your sponsorship keeps her safe and well.
